Hey peeps. Time for another challenge at CMC. For this bi-weekly challenge think lots of laughs and fun bright colors. Okay first I have to say when I got this stamp called Mrs. Vera Stanton from I Brake For Stamps I thought Lord don't let me walk around looking like this when I get older. LOL This image is part of the humorous seniors collection at IBFS. But I have to say, I had a BLAST coloring her and picking out the colors for this card. I couldn't stop giggling while I was coloring her. Just shaking my head.

I followed Jen's sketch for this month at I Heart Stamps. It was perfect for Mrs. Stanton. The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie Missy set.

I'm So Happy

This card says it all today. I finally have my computer back up and running. I'm feeling so much better than I have been the last few days. I have a newly designed blog and I'm entering a DT call. Yikes....so much in one day. I thought I needed a fresh look for my blog. I had the old template for some time now and I wanted something a little more simple. Does that make sense to any of you? LOL

Then I ran across the Doodle Pantry blog and they are having a summer DT call so I said "why not" everything else is going right today. I just love their images and I had this adorable guy in my stash. He looks like he's signing his heart out today with a very loud HALLELUJAH!!!

Morning peeps. Hope your week is starting off blessed. Back in my stamproom continuing to make V-day cards. Don't know why because I really only have three people to give them to (my husband and two kiddos). Anyway, I haven't made an easel card in awhile so I thought when I participated in the challenges today I would use one. This adorable image called Kisses is from The Paper Shelter. As you have heard me say many of times I keep images colored and matched with paper so this one was ready to pop on my card today. This little gem is going into the following challenges:

I must say that I actually like how this came out. I've had this image colored for some time now so I'm glad I had a chance to use it. The pearls I got for a steal on clearance at Micheal's about 6 months ago. I know, I'm a hoarder. LOL Well thanks for popping by today. Hope to see ya again soon.

Hey mon!! What's happening! It's sneak peek time at Your Next Stamp. Yep, it's another release going on. I'm sneak peekin' the ever so cool Tyler from Jamaica. He's so darn cute with his shades. He's getting ready to rock!! The layout of this card is from this month's SFYTT. Great sketch Jen. He was colored up with Copics markers and a touch of Touch Twin makers. If you are still struggling with your Copic skills and need to learn more swing by Color Me Creative and take one of the classes. You won't be disappointed.

Love Is In The Air- CMC way

Hey my precious peeps. How's it going today? It's time for another wonderful Copic challenge over at Color Me Creative. This challenge is to show some LOVE with red, pink, white and/or cream in honor of Valentine's Day. This week's sponsor is Stamp Fairy. I am in LOVE with this adorable images that we received for this challenge. Just the cutest bear ever. To get the "textured" fur on my bear I put some colorless blender on a rag and padded my cardstock and viola you have fur. So easy and adorable.

Some Odd Girl Color Challenge

Hey peeps. Hope everyone is doing well and welcoming in Super Bowl weekend. Before I get myself all worked up I thought I would post a card before I get my "game face" on. LOL I colored up beach Kaylee from Some Odd Girl and entered her into the color challenge. I have to tell you that I just LOVE these colors together. I don't know if you can really see it or not but the word "summer" is running along the side of the card. This is what I hope my waistline will look like by then. Probably won't happen but a girl can wish right?!?

Off to do a little bit more coloring and then start planning my grocery list to get ready for the game on Sunday. GO GIANTS!!!!

Valentine Smooches

Hey peeps. Not feeling well today actually all week but I couldn't spend another second in my bed. So I got up threw on some sweats and made it to the stamp room. I had the Little Smooches image from Mo's Digital Pencil (one of my favorites) colored up earlier in the week so I decided to cut her out with my Nestabilities (another favorite) and pop her on a card to participate in this week's challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil and today's Ways To Use It over at SCS.

I really wanted to show off the fishnet stockings I put on her. LOL....she's so sexy. When I leave my hair wet after washing it it's full of curls so this is what I would look like trying to give my hubby a few smooches on V-day! He calls it my "lion mane". Love it! Well I hope you enjoyed my card today. Next into the kitchen for some soup and crackers. Hoping to make it out of this house and back to work tomorrow for at least one day!

Morning everyone. I'm back in my stamp room creating up a storm. Today I made a card with the adorable Agnes stamp from Krafin' Kimmie. I wanted to paper piece her skirt with some fun valentine day paper I purchased from Micheal's. Not like I need another pad of paper but I just couldn't resists this one pack. I'm like a hoarder when it comes to cute paper. I might have to put some up as "candy" for a V-day give away. What do you think?

CMC Challenge

Hey peeps. How's it going? I'm back to show you a card for the bi-monthly CMC challenge. For this challenge you need to show us your wintery/frosty projects. Today's adorable image is from Lili Of The Valley called Ski Jump. I am a huge fan of Lili of The Valley images. They are so sweet. Mine is riding down the wintery slops having a blast with his dog in tow. So cute!

To create this card I used the following Copic markers: E00, E11, BG10, BG72, R24, R49, E35, E23, E25. See you don't need to have a ton of markers to create a great card. But why on earth would you want to limit your Copic collection? All Copics need buddies to hang out with. :-)

Hope you take the time to join us for this awesome challenge. There are still a few places around that are brutally cold so head on into your stamps rooms or spaces and get creating in the warmth of the indoors. Can't wait to see your creations.

Just had to post another card today. I wanted to participate in two challenges (All That Scraps and SCS Free For All). This adorable image called Honey with Umbrella has been colored up for a few weeks using a fabulous technique that Suzanne Dean taught in her Class 5 video. In this video she shows how to make a leopard print design on any of your images using Copic markers. I am in LOVE with this technique. So much fun to do. You have to check it out. Fun Friday - Your Next Stamp Way

Morning peeps. Can't believe Friday is here already and you know what Friday is....Fun Friday at Your Next Stamp. For today's card (made with the super adorable One Sweet Cookie stamp) I want to talk to you about coloring ribbon with your Copic Markers. I don't know about you but I have TONS of ribbon but some how I never have the "right" color for some of my cards. This is where your handy dandy Copic markers come into play. Grab a piece of white ribbon and the Copic marker of you choice and "color" your ribbon. That's right color directly onto your ribbon. Copics work wonders to create just the perfect matching shade of ribbon for your project. As you can see with this card I actually striped it a little so it looks light pink and medium pink. Pretty cool right? No more having to stress over not having the perfect ribbon. Just pick and Copic and get to coloring. Thanks for stopping by and reading my little Copic tip of the day. Morning peeps. Hope all of you are having a blessed Sunday. Today I'm participating in a few challenges. Okay first let me say that I just love this image from The Paper Shelter. She's just too groovy!! Reminds me of my Mom back in the 70's. LOL Sorry Mom. Anyway her name is Disco Girl. If any of you are old enough to remember Soul Train then you know this girl was in the line dancing her butt off. LOL My card is in honor of Linda over at Splitcoaststampers who is today's Featured Stamper. Yay Linda way to go. I'm also adding her to the Paper Sundaes challenge to pick one of your favorite challenges. Mine is the Pop It Up challenge. I love placing my images on dimensional to really make them stand out.

YNS Fun Fridays

Mornin', mornin' peeps. I hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday. We are starting something new at Your Next Stamp. It's called Fun Fridays. The DT will be showing some ways to have fun with your crafting. I have to tell you that I'm a HUGE fan of sketches. Ever since I've been stamping I have loved to see the different layouts for cards. Some of them, I find to be such a challenge but that's what makes you think out of the box. I also has an addiction to embellishments. I have TONS of them in my drawers that they are overflowing but I have a way of never really showcasing them. Well today I'm showing my adorable Love is in the Air set from the ubber talented Jenny Suchin along with some pretty pearls. This is part of her new line for YNS. Happy New Year...I think?!?!

Happy New Year everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful and fun holiday and you have rung in 2012 with fun, laughter and love. I have gotten over all the holiday fun only to end up in the hospital. Yep, just got released today. I haven't had time to get into my stamp room to start my year off surrounded with all my paper, stamps, Copics and glitter but I'll get there soon. Have a few doctors appointments to see what the source of all my pain is coming from and then I should be back to normal. I'm a very hard cookie and I don't crumble easy. :-) Make sure you stop back Wednesday as I do have a card made for YNS new release. Oh you are going to love these images. Until then....

Celebrating Suzanne Dean

Morning, morning peeps. The countdown to Christmas is here. Just a few more days! Well on my list of giving this year the name Suzanne Dean has been added. Yup, that Suzanne Dean. The ever talented Suzanne. I am honored to be a part of Suzanne's DT over at CMC and I wanted to let her know that she is one fabulous lady. So today I'm showing you the card I sent to her for all the support that she has given me this year. It has been a blessing to work for her and get to know her as a friend. Plus I was a secret stalker prior to being on the team because I think her Copic color is amazing. I have had the chance to take her latest class 5 and I'm over the top happy with how much I'm learning. If you have not taken a class it should be on your Christmas list. :-)Well Suzanne, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and nothing but blessings in the coming year.

And to all my fabulous followers. Thank you for blessing me with your support and friendship as well. This whole blogging thing was new to me in 2009 but through it all I have made the best of friends and that's why I keep doing what I'm doing. You have been there for me doing tough times and through smiles. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to start off 2012 I'm going to be spreading the LOVE so make sure you come back and visit ALOT during 2012. I think it's going to be a year full of blessings for us all. CMC Creme and Gold Challenge

Happy Friday everyone. So glad another week is done. I'm getting in the holiday spirit I think. :-) So much going on that I haven't even gotten my tree up yet. That is never a good thing in the Joy house. But I have been in my stamproom making my holiday cards so that is one accomplishment down.

Today I'm showing you a card I made for the new CMC challenge. Suzanne challenged us to use creme, gold and white on our cards. This was really a struggle for me but here's what I came up with. I love this magnolia image for holiday cards. To make the gold color I followed Suzanne's color cue and used YR23, Y11, Y15, E00 and E35 Copic markers. I used E41 for the "white" color on her top. Suzanne teaches some great classes on coloring with Copics. I'm now in the process of taking Class 5 and it's amazing. I had this really glittery gold paper so that came in handy. A few punches of snowflakes, one of my Nestabilities dies and some gold ribbon and viola my card was done. I hope you play along with us for the challenge. The challenge is going to run through the holidays so you have until Jan 5th to get your project done. Winter Fun Hop and Challenge for YNS

It's release day and challenge day combined into one!! If you have gotten here by way of Jen R's blog you are on the right track. If not, start at the beginning of the hop over at Kerri's blog. Your Next Stamp is having winter fun hop for the release of the new Holiday Globe set and the Fancy Frame die and stamps. My goodness Karen has outdone herself with all of new stamps for the holidays. Here are two crafty items I made using the holiday globe set. This set has TONS of images to place inside the globe. I'm entering this little box into the Paper Sundaes challenge too. Hope they like it. The hop will run from today until midnight Monday December 12th.

Plus it's challenge day also. Man, so much goodness going on. This challenge is to make something with the holiday/winder theme. I think I have that covered. :-) The prize for this challenge is (3) $10 gift certificates. That means there will be three winners. Woo hoo! Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #27

Morning peeps. Hope you had a great weekend. Well it's Monday and the start of a new week of cards and creations. LOL Today it's challenge day over at Heart Song Inspiration and we challenge you to show off you holiday creations using red, green and white. I know that you have these colors on hand during Christmas time so get to creating. Today I used the O' Christmas Tree image. I love this adorable image. All the animals getting their tree ready for the presents that await. So cute. I added some Stickles in crystal to add a sparkly touch to my snow and branches. Sketch For You To Try

Hey friends. I have been in my stamp room all weekend finally getting my Christmas cards done. Thank the Lord. I am so far behind but I do have about 50 cards done and 15 more colored up and ready to put together. :-)

Here is one of my Christmas cards. I've had bear from Lilly Of The Valley colored up since last year but never used it. Only had to color the hat and scarf, add some snow and I was done. Woo hoo!!! The paper is from an old Stampin Up pack. I can't remember the name of it. I got the layout from this month's Sketch For You To Try challenge. Love this layout Jen.

I have some awesome news for you too. Suzanne from Color Me Creative has completed Classroom 5 and it's now available to everyone. I've had the chance to get started on this class and Suzanne has really outdone herself. If you are not registered for this great Copic classroom you are missing out. Happy hump day everyone. Have a quick card to show you. I haven't had the chance in awhile to participate in a SCS challenge so today I did. Love the sketch Roxi as it was super easy to do with the tons of scraps I have in my scrap box. I had this adorable house mouse image colored for years now and he finally made it to a card. Awww...I think I made him happy. LOL

I'm keeping this short and sweet as I'm feeling sicker than a dog right now. Back to bed I go but come back soon as I'll have more to show you later in the week.

Color Me Creative Challenge - Multicolor Hair

Morning my little sunshines!! Welcome back. I have been MIA for a week or so. Soooo much going on. Holidays, family emergencies, LIFE. It all seems to show up at one time. LOL Anyway we are on to more Copic coloring. Thank goodness because I sure could use some stamping time.

It's challenge time over at CMC and this one is hair raising. :-) Your challenge is to color hair in crazy colors. How cool is that? I have to say that I see a lot of teens with some pretty crazy hair color. Me on the other hand...not so much. My image from Simply Betty called Lilly Pie is what I looked like in my kitchen on Thanksgiving. Click the CMC link above for all the challenge details. Well I'm off to finish some home projects with the hubby. Then hopefully I'll be able to sit back and get to coloring up my images for my Christmas cards. I usually have well over 100 done by now. Second Posting - Deals of The Week at YNS

Hey everyone. This is my second post for today. I thought my first post was up and running but when my husband and I got home from Savannah it wasn't on my blog. That's what happens when you disconnect from blogland for three days. My hubby and I had a very nice relaxing three day weekend in the historic district in Savannah. So much history in Savannah. And of course the food and alcoholic beverages just add to the charm (had a drink at Wet Willies that knocked my socks off LOL). Here's a photo of us hamming it up on River Street. Just broke in my new "winter" hairdo. I'm crazy....I have a summer look and a winter look.

Good morning my lovely peeps. So glad you have stopped by today. I know it's been a week since I have posted anything but I have been one busy girl lately. Today is Wednesday and the DT of Your Next Stamp has some wonderful cards to show you for our challenge. We are showing love to our friends. I'm spreading a little bit of holiday love to my favorite friends. This adorable image from YNS called Light Me Up was perfect for the start of my holiday cards. He's precious. LOL I combined the newly released Light Up The Holidays cling set and die for my card. You have to head on over to YNS if you haven't seen all the new goodies available. The paper is from My Minds Eye Wonderful Winter Glitter Christmas Paper Pack. Love, love, love this paper. I also want to welcome the ever so talented Jen del Muro to the YNS Design Team. So glad you are with us Jen. I'm a huge fan of your work girlie. :-) You have to head on over to her blog. It's full of amazing creations.

I'm going to list the Copics I used for my image and lights just in case you want to color him up too. Here's the colors:

I added some Crystal effects to the lights to make them look more like glass/plastic bulbs. I love these cool colors together with a pop of red. Blues, greens, browns with a pop of color have always been a color combo I loved. Happy Monday peeps. Glad you stopped by for the HSI challenge today. We are asking you to add some layers (3 or more) and/or some embossing to your creation this week. I love adding layers to cards. I think it makes them come alive in a sense. I'm not a "flat" card girl. The more layers the better.

I used the pansy frame from Heart Song Designs. I love this frame because it fits small sentiments perfectly. So many options with this one.

Hey peeps. Wanted to post a card I made for my daughter's friend who's little girl is moving up to the big girl panties!! Yay!!! No more diaper bills. :-) Well, maybe a backup stash just in case. This card also worked for Mo's Digital Pencil challenge for a celebration card!! I think moving up on the big potty is a celebration in itself. LOL I also had a chance to swing by SCS and play along in the Featured Stampers challenge. Congrats to Michelle for being featured this week.

Well, I'm off to watch some football. From the sounds coming from my husband, our NY Giants must of won. Go big blue!!

2nd Post - Got Candy Skeleton Peter

So I just had to make another card today. I saw this adorable image at Simply Betty Stamps and I just had to have him. It's called Skeleton Peter. He's just the most adorable skeleton I have seen. He's precious!! LOL I'm entering him in the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge for this week. Wow...that was a mouth full. I hope he'll qualify for the challenge. You were to incorporate candy into your card but his is in his bag. (wink) I'm trying to work on coloring things black. Still have a little ways to go. If you are need practice on coloring items black check out the CMC for helpful hints. Suzanne has a ton of information that can help you better your skills using Copic markers. Her classes are awesome.

Don't know if you are celebrating Halloween today or on Monday but either way, I hope you have a safe and fun Halloween. Remember to give one piece to the trick or treater and eat two for yourself. LOL

Boy Inspired Challenge - CMC Style

Good morning peeps. Awww...I'm so glad you stopped by. I have a challenge for you today. All of us at Color Me Creative are showing you our "boy inspired" cards and creations. Yay...you came back! So glad you did. So what did you think about my gift tag? Well if you thought that was cute, look at this adorable image. Isn't this just too cute? This little guy is called Merry Mouse Ornament. Okay, I just had to use reflective paper for this one. I had this paper forever and I think I might have used it once. So it was perfect for today challenge. I know you like this image as much as I do and you guessed it, it's available TODAY in the YNS store. So you ask what is the challenge? Well, it's to make anything but a card! Yikes....yep that's your challenge. I know you can do it. I myself get stuck in a rut of just making cards so this was a great way for me to get out of the norm. I have some chocolates in this little bag. Today is Monday and you know what we do on Monday....time for another Heart Song Inspirations Challenge. The challenge this week is to use flowers or felt on your cards. I have to admit that I don't keep alot of felt if any in my house. I think I have maybe one red felt flower sitting around my stamproom somewhere. So I used tons of flowers on my card instead. They are in the paper, used as the embellishments and also on this adorable floral frame from HSD. I colored the image with my Copics and Touch Twin markers. I covered him with a TON of microbeads to make him have a spooky texture. He just happened to match my green spider paper. Love when a card comes together. Now for the fun part. Color Me Creative Classes - San Jose, CA

No card today. I have had one full weekend and it's finally almost 7pm and I can start to slow down. And the dentist sucked all my creative juices from me when she filled me up with novacaine to finish up a crown. Then charged me $326 for the visit with only a temp crown put in. Have to go back in two weeks for the permanent one. Don't cha just love return dental appointments? Gives you the warm fuzzies doesn't it? (grrrrr) Anyway, I wanted to pass on some Copic info to you. Kenny K Challenge #63

Hey peeps. I hope everyone has had a wonderful week thus far. Mine is going GREAT. Wanted to quickly show you a card that I'm submitting into this week's challenge at Kenny K Krafty Girlz. The challenge was to use more than one girl and a die cut on your card. I love these two images from KK so I colored them up with my Copic markers to match this awesome red and brown paper I had and couldn't wait to use. Only used my R17, R46, E57, E47 with a hint of E49 along with my standard E13, E11, E00 markers to color my image to match the paper. See not a lot of markers for such a cool card. :-) I think they came out super cute. Remember you can find some great tips on coloring with Copics over at the Color Me Creative Classroom. I'm learning so much as being a member of this team. You should come check us out.

Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #17

Happy Monday everyone. Glad to see you came back by. Today's challenge at Heart Song Inspiration is to make a card using ribbon and/or tags. Well I had this gorgeous brown silk ribbon just waiting to land itself on a card. Since it already feels like fall outside I thought I would pair my ribbon with the autumn friend image from Heart Song Designs. I love this adorable scene. Don't know if you can tell or not but I have the pumpkin, sunflowers, bird and some of the leaves popped up on pop dots. One of the flowers and the pumpkin are popped up twice while the other ones just once. I think it gives this image more of a 3D effect.

Okay, now that your creative juices flowing, let me see what you can create with ribbon and/or tags. Make sure you link your creation up on the HSI blog. You have until 6PM SUNDAY October 2nd.

Autumn is Coming

Well, summer is officially over. Don't really know where the time went. But I must admit that I do love the fall/autumn season. It's the time of year when you can start to put on those cozy sweaters and relax with a cup of cocoa. These are the days I long for when it's 101 degrees here in Georgia and you are sweating like a pig. LOL

Today was a perfect day to join in Mo's Digital Pencil challenge to show off some autumn colors. When I think of the fall, I think of the leaves turning yellow/gold with the warm colors of orange. I colored up Mo's Digital Pencil image named Peaches with all the warm colors of fall. I placed her on this amazing Cafe Mediterranean paper from DCWV. I love this paper. I'm also submitting my card in today's Paper Sundaes Challenge. I think Peaches will fit in nicely over there. Well, thanks for stopping by peeps. Fur with a Difference

Happy hump day! It's the middle of the week baby and I can see the weekend. LOL While running through blog land I came across the Copic Creations challenge and I had to join in on the fun. The challenge was to "color" fur with a twist. This just made my day. Of course they had to show care bears as an inspiration. Oh I used to love my care bear. He was pink and my boyfriend (now husband) gave him to me. He's so sweet. So I colored my bear in honor to the one I had years ago. I can't remember the maker of this image. But he's the cutest right?!?!

Well I'm back. It's a dreary day here in Georgia. A good day to stay in my stamp room. Looking at all the lovely challenges this week I decided to play along in the DP2 100th Challenge. Way to go!!! So happy for Mo. And since I haven't played in awhile over at Sketch Saturday I whipped up a card for their challenge that would go with Mo's image. So, how did I do??

Now it's time to clean up the mess I have created. Plus my fabulous hubby is helping me yet again rearrange my stamp room. Oh, how I love that man.

Good morning peeps. Are you guys ready for a hop? I hope you arrived here from Kerri's blog. If not start at the beginning so you don't miss a thing. Today YNS is releasing the September images and OMG...they are too cute. Plus today is also challenge day so get your paper piecing tools together. To start, this darling image is called Ellie Loves Sunflowers. I think she is precious. I love her!! I paper pieced her skirt and colored her with Copic makers. She's available in the store starting today. But wait that's not it. I thought I would try out the "color with no lines" technique and made this card with Ellie. Oh I have to say I might be on to something. This technique is a bit challenging but I LOVE the results. It gives the image such a soft look.

But wait there's more. I just couldn't stop with showing you one stamp so I made a gift card holder with the new Celebrate the Journey image. He's soooo cute! I put my son's debit card in the slot as I added some cash to it for an upcoming field trip. Once again this stamp is available starting today.

Copic Certified - YAY

Morning everyone. Just thought I would show you a card I made yesterday for the SCS Clean and Simple Challenge. This week the challenge was to use this sketch. Super cute. I colored the Royal Proclamation image from Tiddly Inks. She's demanding that I shop so I guess I'm off to the store. LOL Also, I wanted to share with you that I'm now Copic certified. Yay me!

I had the chance last Thursday to spend the day with the lovely and ubber talented Colleen Schaan seen here in this photo with me. Picture is a little fuzzy (sorry). Colleen is so sweet and the best Copic teacher ever! I'll be signing up to take the intermediate class with her too. Wish me luck on getting a spot. Well, gotta run. See ya back here tomorrow. Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #15

Welcome back. Glad you're starting your week off with me. Yay!! Since today is a Monday you know it's time for another Heart Song Inspiration Challenge. This week we want to see you create something with either glitter and/or chipboard. So pull out all those pretty bottles and pens with stunning glitter and let's get to crafting. I must say I have a ton of unused chipboard that I just came across the other day. That right there tells you that I have all kinds of stuff "hidden" from myself in my stamp room. It's like a treasure hunt. LOL For my image I used the ever so adorable chick parade for my card. Can't get enough of these little cuties. I used some glitter pens on the flowers and leaves. Not sure if you can really see it in the photo. The silly circle and smaller circle are chipboard pieces.

Back To School

That's right kiddo....you're heading back to school!! Well, in my case my son has been back now for almost a month. I'm playing along with Mo's Digital Pencil and the SCS Free 4 All challenges today. I wish I was back in school with ZERO responsibilities. No mortgage, car note, cable bill, cell phone bill, etc. Oh, that was the life. I remember my mother putting my hair in two pigtails and off to school I went. And what about NAP TIME?!?! Nap time now is called quitting time. No sleeping on the J-O-B.

Doing the Humpty Hump!!!

I'm doing the humpty dance. That's right it's hump day baby. Well, really my hump day is just about over. So I'm really sliding into Thirsty Thursday. :-) Had a chance to get into my stamp room and come up with a card for the Kenny K and Tuesday Throwdown challenges. I just love having an image and paper already coordinated. Had this sitting in my folder waiting for a card. Perfect!! All I had to do was cut up the layers, add some details and viola....a card!!

Oh, I'm moving a little slow today. Glad you stopped back by. I have an inspection at work today and I'm dreading it. Hey everyone. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Today has been one of those lazy Saturday where you just don't do anything. I've stayed in my pj's all day. Yay for me!! I'm usually all over town doing something but not today. I cut coupons, read a magazine and clean up my stamp room. Then I thought I would sit and make a card for Mo's Digital Pencil challenge. I already had Video Boy colored in except for his shirt and sneakers so I was able to get this one completed in no time.

Morning peeps. Glad we are now one day away from the weekend. I had the chance to make a card the the CMC challenge. For this challenge you had to color your embellishments and have a friend theme. Thanks to my bestie Wendy for letting me borrow this adorable image. I can't remember for the life of me what the name of this little cutie is. I loved coloring her. The sentiment is from Ditto pack Lots of Love. The paper of course is from my scrap bin. It is now OVERFLOWING with scraps. I think I need to get these scraps under control. :-)

Heart Song Inspiration New Addition

Good morning everyone. Thanks for stopping by today to share in some awesome news with us. Today's HSI challenge was to create a card with an animal as your image and/or do paper pleating. Well I totally stink at paper pleating so I didn't want to ruin a great card. LOL The image here is called chick parade and it's definitely one of my favorite images from Heart Song Designs. Now you're probably wondering why I have the word baby in the blocks. Well, Leah (owner of HSD) has added an addition to her family. Leah is on her way back home from Ethiopia with her baby boy Makaio. I am so excited for her. You're back!! Yay!! Thanks for taking the time to swing by again today. I had a chance to work on an easel card for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge. I swear I so love easel cards and I don't know why I don't make more of them. I'll have to put that on the list of reminders. :-) Your card also had to have an animal as part of the image. I already had Zola colored so I just had to pull her from my stash and place her on this card. I kind of try to at least pre-color parts of images so when I'm up for a challenge there's really not too much left to color in.

Monrin', morni' peeps. Does your neighborhood seem a little quiet theses days? Well mine is because the little kiddos have headed back to school. The only thing you see around here in the morning are all the school buses. Man, what happened to summer?

Well this week's challenge at HSI blog is to make a card or creation with a back to school theme or add some circles to your card. I'm manged to do both with the new release apple image. Now I don't know what kids do these days but I remember at some point in school the kids giving apples to their teachers. Did I just age myself?!?!? Anyhow, I found this adorable paper at Claudia and Company in a sample back from October Afternoon Detour. Worked perfect for my apple card.

Simply said, I think decorative borders add a little sumthin' sumthin' to our cards. I used my beautiful border around my Miya from China. She's part of the World Kids Collection at Your Next Stamp. I have to say, I just loved coloring in this image. She's just too adorable.

Good morning friends. I have a huge announcement to make. I was selected to be a part of the amazing team at Heart Song Designs. YAY!!! I'm super excited to be working with all the talented ladies on this team.

Sweet Ladybugs

Happy FRIDAY!! The weekend is finally here. Are you as excited as I am? Usually the weekend is for movies and friends so this week I participated in the Tiddly Ink's Nature Movie challenge. I had to stretch this card a little bit to actually fit the challenge. You see there is a movie called The Ladybugs with Rodney Dangerfield in it. The movie has nothing to do with nature but to me a ladybug is part of nature right? LOL, I know don't laugh at me. I really wanted to be in this challenge. LMBO. So I inked up this adorable little labybug from Tiddly Inks. So with her all inked up I headed over to Sweet Sunday challenge blog and made a card layout to match their sketch this week.

So with my card all done, I'm heading out of here to spend some time with family and friends. I think I see a movie in my near future.

For the Boys

Hey peeps. How's everyone doing today. I'm combining three challenges today. La-La Land Crafts is featuring the "boys and brads" as it's challenge this week. Great because I just love Luka. He's so stinkin' cute. Tuesday Throwdown has us adding some metallic to our card. Don't think you can see it in the photo but the tires on Luka's truck and the brads were colored over with metallic ink. And finally the Copic Challenge was to use pastel colors. I can not remember when I made my last pastel colored card so it was great to go back in that direction for a change.

I think I hit all the requirements on this card. What do you think? For my Copic colors I used E53, E51, E50, E57, E25, E47, Y23, Y21, B93, YG11, G24.

Black and White Plus Copic Technique

Welcome back. I've had a chance to hop around some blogs and came across the black+white with a contrasting color challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil. Since I just love black and white cards with a pop of color I got to coloring up an image. This hot Mama is ready to through up some kisses. I think she is too darn funny!! I just had to use this ticket with her. I can't remember where I got the tickets from that you will see on my blog but they are part of a free download. I'm also participating in the CMC challenge to use your favorite Copic technique. I did a ton on "flicking" on my card. So sorry you guys but I'm addicted to my Copics. I used E11,E00, E25, E27, E57, R29, R27, R24, C5, C3 and 100 as my colors for today.

Okay, I know...a pretty weird intro to my card. LOL I was trying to add all the names of the challenges I'm doing today into a title. Don't think that came out too good. Oh, well. I had the chance to take a look at Terri's gallery (the Featured Stamper at SCS today) and man did I fall in love. Such an awesome gallery full of fun things. Congrats Terri for the honor today.

Hey Kenny K is one year old!! It has been a blast following their blog and participating in the challenges. I am a huge fan of Kenny K images so I wanted to dedicate my card to all the groovy people that put their heart and soul into these wonderful images.

My groovy dude is pumping up the jams this week at the Sketch Saturday challenge. Oh yes, he ROCKS!! He so reminds me of this reggae guy I met several years ago at a block party. The music was great and we were jamming to his guitar.

Sketching Out a Color Throwdown

Hi everybody. Oh what a day. So glad it's over. We are now having a wonderful thunderstorm. I know that sounds strange but we so need the rain. And plus it's a good time to do a challenge when I'm not occupied with having to do something outside.

Today's little beauty is Marci from La-la Land Crafts. She's all dressed up for a day in the sun. I have to say that I have fallen in love with these adorable kids from LLLC. I colored her up with a mix of Copic markers and she's heading over to the Color Throwdown and Tuesday Throwdown challenges. She's also making an appearance on the La-la Land Crafts Inspiration Monday Sketch. She's a very busy young lady.

Hey peeps. Glad you stopped by today. I have a multi-challenged card for you. I haven't participated in some challenges that I have been wanting to do so I combined them all into one. Whew, that was a task. Okay here we go. I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

YNS Challenge #46 - Button Up!

Hey my favorite peeps. It's challenge day at Your Next Stamp and it's my turn to challenge you. I want you to create something fabulous with buttons. Add them in a row, in the corners or even stack them like I did. I have a huge jar full of buttons so I'm glad I had the chance to get them out.

The image I used for my card is the ever so cute Song Bird. He's singing a tune on the ever so fabulous Lime Twist Fly A Kite paper. I am sooo in love with this paper pack. And I have to say hands down Copic X-press It Blending Paper is one of my favorite paper to use when I'm using my Copic markers.

Here are the Copics. The ones that you can't see the number are B02, BG01, YR07 and E79.

Copic Challenge #53 - White Coloring

Hey everyone. Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. I am enjoying some quality time with my pillow, my bed and my TV. Yep, haven't done a thing all day and I love it. Once I did get to moving around I hit the stamp room for the "White Coloring" Copic Challenge. You guessed it, white is a color. I usually don't leave clothing on my images white but it sure does add a crispness to it. This little fella is Luka from La-La Land Crafts stamps. I am in LOVE with their adorable images. And they just happen to be the sponsor for this challenge. Woo hoo! If you don't have any of the images from La-La Land Crafts you are missing out.

Well, I'm off to go enjoy some more time with my pillow, bed and TV. I might just let my husband handle the remote now.

Second Posting - KKKG #51

I'm back for a second challenge today. I just had to play along in the Kenny K Krafty Girlz Challenge. The challenge was to use red, white and blue. I had the biker image from Kenny K for a while and had not colored in the clothing. Well today my biker is roaming the street of Georgia celebrating his independence. With the 4th of July just around the corner, it's a great time to say thank you to our troops for keeping us free. So ride on fella and enjoy your independence.

Purple Gems

Good morning!! I'm up bright and early for some crazy reason today. I decided to go ahead and start the day doing some challenges. Today's card is for several challenges:

Congrats to Claudia this week for being the featured stamper. Super amazing gallery. For the other challenges you had to use purple, bling and something old or something new. Well I don't use purple enough so I wanted to participate this week at Paper Sundaes so I could pull out all my old paper and put it to good use. This is a newer image that I picked up from Meljean's Designs. I think this little girl and her bear are just adorable.

I totally forgot to write down the Copic markers I used but I think I can remember from the top of my head:
Skin: E02, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E25, E27, E47
Dress: V05, V06,V09 and hearts
Bear: E34, E31, E53, R20
Grass: YG03, YG23
Shoes: C9, C7, C5

Hey, hey, hey...it's challenge day! Just had to put the Fat Albert voice out there today. (giggles) Today YNS is rocking another challenge. It's the black and white plus one challenge. Make a card using black and white plus one color of your choice. I'm in such a super summer mood so I added the zest of some seriously bright green to my card. Plus it make a really good looking refreshing cocktail too. LOL Since I only had to color in the drink and the orange I don't have a huge Copic list for you. I just used YG23 and YG25 for the drink and YR04 and YR09 for the orange. Easy peasy!!

Now as always, there's something in it for you to win!! Yay, that's what it's all about...free stamps! Okay, so if you participate in the challenge you can win the Celebrate stamp set.
