Merry Christmas Everyone

Hey peeps.  I know I've been MIA lately.  Between the holiday rush, retirement planning for the hubs and fighting a very nasty cold, I've lost all my mojo.  Hopefully Santa will tuck a little somethin' somethin' under the tree to help me get my mojo back. I have HUGE plans for 2015 so I'll be back to creating and making videos for you. Plus you all know I love a giveaway.

So to you and yours,

Hugs and love~

A Little Wine Will Do ~ HAPPY HOLIDAYS~

Hey peeps.  Back with a tutorial using some amazing products from Ann Butler Designs.  The time has come for me to kick back and relax.  The festivies are about to begin.  So let's get this tag started.

I started with a blank tag and watercolored it using some Ann Butler sunshine craft ink.  Next I stamped the monogram D from the Ann Butler EZ De's Flourishes 2" ABC stamp set with Colorbox Bark in.  BTW...if you don't have this stamp set in your collection.  Hurry up and get it since it's 75% off before they are all gone.  Oh I love how this tag came out.  I used some ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon to make my bow.  A beautiful monogram tag just for me some of my holiday guests.  I preferred not to do my tag in the traditional holiday colors.  I need my wine bottle tags to have a spot of their own.

Well, gotta run peeps!  I have some wine to drink.  I mean tags to make! ;-)

Hey Rudolph~ House of Cards DT Call

Hey peeps.  I hope everyone is doing well this wonderful Sunday.  I've finished with most of my holiday cards.  Now I'm just making the ones for my hubby and kids.  I found out that House of Cards was having a DT call so I said I decided to knock two projects out at once.  Gotta do that sometimes when you are in crunch mode.  LOL

Here is the inspiration piece from House of Cards.  This is such a lovely pic.  Really wish my house would look at festive all year long.  LOL I have to say I'm partial to this color combo since my family room is done in the same color scheme.

Here is my card using the above photo for inspiration.

I finally broke down and downloaded a flying reindeer to my Silhouette.  This Echo Park image was 1/2 price last week.  Now I'm wondering why I didn't do this when I first started making cards.  LOL  So super easy to make multiple cards in a snap.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps Big Holiday Wishes stamp set.  I used the SSS Falling Snow stencil along with some embossing paste to make the snow.  I added some moonshine sequin onto my card as well.  I mean you need a touch of sparkle to every holiday card. ;-) To finish up my card I used some silver metallic string.

Well, wish me luck peeps.  I gotta run.  Still have to make a Christmas tree out of little boxes for some gift to my hubby.  I'll catch you guys back here soon!

Hugs and love~

Wine A Little - Ann Butler Designs and ETI Blog Hop

Hey peeps.  Are you getting ready for the holidays?  I'm ready for good company, good food and a good glass of wine.  Speaking of good company Ann Butler Designs has teamed up with Environmental Technology Inc. (ETI) for a festive blog hop.  Check out this fabulous candy.  Wow..that's a ton of fun right there.  You should of gotten to my blog by way of Cindi.  If not, head on back to the beginning at the Ann Butler Designs blog so you don't miss a thing.

In order for you to win the blog candy you MUST comment on each of the blogs along the hop.  EVERY comments gets you one entry closer to winning.  The winner bill be announced December 20th on the Ann Butler Designs blog and the ETI blog. (US ONLY)

Let me show you a project I made for the hop.  Here are the products I used for my project.  First you will use Easy Cast resin referring to the directions in the box.  The instructions are very clear in order to achieve success with this product.

Next I added some of the Ann Butler's Iridescent.  Make sure you blend in the gorgeous paint well.  You don't want to see any streaks.

I sprinkled in a little bit of glitter into each of the molds before I poured in my resin.  Oh these charms are going to be sooo pretty!

Once I pop my pretty resin charms out of the molds I like to add a clear shiny coat using Envirotex Spray on top.  It just makes them shine a little bit more.  Then I thread through my charm hoops and add a few other beads.

And voila....fabulously glittered resin wine charms.  I made about 12 charms so each of my guests will be able to drink find their wine glass.  Don't cha just love these charms?  A-dorable...plus anything with glitter is awesome! ;-)

Have fun along the hop and make sure you leave a comment on EACH blog for your chance to win this awesome blog candy. Next it's the fabulously talented Graciela!  In case you get lost along the hope see below.

I loved the scrapbook paper packs from the Oriental Trading company.  Their Nostalgic Christmas Scrapbook paper kit is perfect for making your holiday and new year cards or craft creations.  I used the stickers from the paper pack to make my sentiment.  Then I used a border piece to finish off the bottom of my card.  Fabulous!  Now to put together a little present and I'll ready for the party.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

This gorgeous diamond satin charcoal ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon is the showcase on my tag.

Ackkk...I love this tag.  So now it's your turn to make a fabulous tag for your cards, packages or hang one from a great bottle of wine.  Oh did I say that out loud?  LOL  Okay since your putting a tag on the bottle, go ahead and delivery it to my address. :-)

Pucker Up Fish Face!!

Hey peeps.  Took a little break from making holiday cards.  I was starting to see double.  LOL  I needed a really funny birthday card for a friend of mine so I tried out my new Chameleon markers.

Isn't this the cutest little fish!?!  I loved this little fella.  He was a blast to color too.  I'm still working with my new markers and I'll have a tutorial up soon.  They are a blast to play with but with all things practice makes perfect.  So I'm practicing like crazy.  I can't remember the paper pack I used for this card but the sentiment was already on it making this card super quick to put together.

I'm going to enter my card into the following challenges:

That Craft Place
Scribble and Scrap
Outlawz Challenge
Seize The Birthday

Thanks for hanging with me peeps.  See ya back here tomorrow for more card inspiration.
