A Little Bit of Recycling

Hey peeps.  I have a little recycling tip today.  We had an event at work and the prizes were packages of golf balls.  I thought "I can make something out of that".  My mind is forever crafting.  I came home pick through come 12x12 paper and viola! I'm using these to hold some of my stamps that aren't in drawers.  Plus they "pretty" up my stamp room. 

Here's another pic.  Okay, so many possibilities here.  I have a few more boxes left so I think I'll make up some Christmas ones to hold cookies and such.

CMC - Getting A Little Girlie

Hey peeps.  Time for another challenge at Color Me Creative.  Let's get a little girlie why don't we.  I love this adorable image from Krafty Kimmie.  She's really girlie in her pink tutu and sparkly wings!!  I am stuck on making tags these last few weeks.  Great way to add a little something to a gift and not really need the bow to be the grand ta-da!! :-)  Won't you join in on the fun.  Remember if you need to brush up on your Copic skills, you can't go wrong with taking one of Suzanne's classes.  She is a-maz-ing with her in-depth videos.  So many to choose from that you will want them ALL. 

Can't wait to see your creations.  You have two whole weeks to get your projects done.  I'm a HUGE fan of sparkles and the like so go ahead and WOW me....I'm waiting.  LOL

YNS Fun Friday Tag

Hey peeps.  I have another YNS Fun Friday post for you.  I'm always in need of little tags to hang on packages around the holidays so I came up with this one for a package I'm already wrapping.  As you know YNS is having Christmas in July so I just had to get shopping. :-)  Okay really I don't need an excuse but hey why not start early right?!  These adorable images and sentiment are from the Holiday Globe set.  With this set the options are endless.  I used my images to make inches for my tag.  Thinking "outside the globe".  LOL

Swing By

Hey peeps.  Glad you had a chance to swing by my blog today.  I'm taking a needed break and relaxing in my stamproom.  It's really too hot here in Georgia.  Can't really enjoy being outside until 8pm.  Anyway, thought I would participate in a few challenges today.  Today's card is heading over to the MFT sketch challenge and the Color Throwdown challenge.  I have seen these Pure Innocence images paper pieced ALOT so I thought my little one could use a plaid dress.  I have to say I really do like to paper piece.  Note to self...do it more often.

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday - Christmas in July

Hey peeps!  Are we giving thanks that it's FRIDAY?  I know I am.  Today over at Your Next Stamp it's Fun Friday!  That's right we are celebrating Christmas in July.  It's never too early to start your holiday shopping and card making is it?  I think not!! My Little Angel

Hey peeps.  I have a card to show you today.  I love this image from Crafts and Me named Noon and I've had her colored up for some time.  A friend of mine is going through a tough time so I thought I would send her my angel.  The Sketch Saturday challenge and the Marker Pop Challenge worked great for my card.  So glad I could join each of the blogs this week. 

Well gotta run.  A big storm is coming and I have to go hide.  Not a fan of thunderstorms.

Color Me Creative Challenge #47

Hey, hey peeps!  Ready for another challenge?  I'm keeping in the patriotic spirit with my card for the Color Me Creative Challenge.  Can you guess what the challenge is?  Okay, I'll tell you.  We want to see you use the color of navy on 80% of your creation.  Well, navy is definitely one of the patriotic colors for my Independence card.  The adorable image is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.   Since this image is a digital is was easy to shrink it down and really use it as my vocal images on my card.  So what do you think?

Post #2 Moxie Fab World and SCS card

I know, I know....two post in a day.  Sorry peeps but I just had to join in on the fun.  Made this card for the SCS challenge to use tissue paper on your card and for the MFW birthday card challenge. Used the scalloped nestabilities die to make my flower and the SU More Petal Prints to make the background flowers.  I really like how this one came out.

Marker Pop Challenge #1

Back again with another challenge.  Good morning to my lovely peeps.  Glad you had a chance to swing by.  Today's card was made for the Marker Pop challenge to color hair or fur.  I had the chance to take one of Suzanne Dean's classes over at Color Me Creative to help me learn more ways to color hair.  Sometimes coloring an image with tons of hair can be a little overwhelming but I think I did a great job on this one.  This lovely image called Forever Rose is from Crafts and Me.  I fell in love with this image the first time I saw it.  So many possibilities with this image to really work up your skin and hair coloring skills. 

The paper is from Basic Grey Romani paper pack.  The solid paper is from my scrap bin and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.  I can't recall who makes the flower or the gems.  Sorry.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #79

Well here goes post #2 for today.  LOL  I happen to finish up in the kitchen a little early today so off to my stamp room I ran.  Thought I would join in on the fun at My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge.  Love this layout.  Just had to play with my new set called ALM Girl Talk from MFT.  Thought I would do a little paper piecing on my image since I haven't done some in awhile.

Happy 4th of July

Hey peeps.  Happy 4th of July.  First let me thank all the men and women that keep our country free.  I salute you today.  In honor of all the men and women who serve that I consider to be true super heroes I joined in on the fun at Tiddly Inks red, white and blue challenge.  This adorable image is from Tiddly Inks called Masked Avenger.  She sure is adorable with her mask and cape.  The layout for my card is from this week's Mojo Monday challenge.  Great layout for my cute image.


I hope all of you have a wonderful day. I'm off to finish up the sides for our bbq today.  Hubby is on the smoking doing his thing.  Think I'll reward him with a nice cold beer.

Sneak Peek at Your Next Stamp

Morning peeps.  Today YNS is featuring a few new stamp sets for the big July release on Friday.  You are going to love, love, love the new sets that are coming out.  YNS has welcomed Ann Ellis as a new image designer.  Ann's style is a little different than most images at YNS and they are really pretty.  This set is called Sunflower.  I followed the sketch for the Sketch Saturday challenge to really show off my new image.  This is just a peek at the eleven images that you get with this set.  Oh, you are going to be very happy when you get your hands on them.

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge #75

Morning peeps!  Hope all of you are having a great day.  It's time for another challenge at PTT.  Yep, we want to see how you celebrate the 4th of July.  I start my day by giving my hubby a big ole' kiss and thanking him for my freedom.  He is proudly serving in the United States Air Force (27 years).  I can't thank him enough for all that he does.

MFT Guest Designer Challenge

Hey peeps.  Wanted to show you a card I'm entering into the MFT Guest Designer Challenge.  I've been in my stamproom all day plugging along on some DT assignments and I really wanted to join in on the fun for this challenge.  Not sure if this one is a winner but hey I got to make a really cool card using my MFT products.  Plus I think this is a sketch I could really use over and over again.  The little banners are too cute.
