Hello everyone.  I will once again be taken away from blogland.  I'm having to unidergo another surgery on Tuesday.  While I recover in the hospital I won't have anything to post but once I get back home and feeling up to it, I will try to get back to posting and leaving comments on your blog.  I wish you all well doing my absence but will be back with you soon.

Cupid

Hey everyone.  I'm back with another cute card using a Whimsie Doodle image called Cloud 9 Cupid.  He has an arrow right to my heart.  Such a cutie.  I decided to use paper that was not really a traditional Valentine's paper.  The circles to me makes him look like he's floating.  I colored my Cupid in with my Copic markers in the following colors:
E25, E13, E11, B21, B23, R29, YR61, YR65.  The background paper is from DCWV Animal Crackers Matstack.  The sentiment is Grateful Greetings from Stampin Up.  I added a little bit of glitter to the heart, clouds, wings and sentiment with my gellyroll pens.

Here's a closeup of Cupid.  He's sooo cute!!  Well thanks for stopping by today.  And I hope your in the mood to make your Valentines cards for your loved one.

See ya back soon.

Hugs~

Sisters

Good morning everyone.  I can't believe the weekend is already over.  WelI guess I can be glad that I had one more day off from work.  Today I'm showing you another one of Mo's Digital Pencil images called Sisters.  I can't say it enough how much I love these images.  They are super fun to color.  I had colored this one and had it sitting in my color bin until I found an inspiration to use it.  I had the paper in my scrap bin and it matched perfectly with this image.  I used the following copics: E11, E13, E21, E25, E47, E49, R20, R22 and R59.  I found the perfect link to help me with coloring African American images.   This tutorial is awesome.  Suzanne has tons of videos on how to color with copic markers.  I love her tutorials so much they are now bookmarked for easy access when I'm doing my coloring.  I'm off to play some more in my stamp room before hitting the stamp store for some goodies I probably don't need. :-)  Have a great day everyone.

Hugs~

Super Easy Easel Card

I'm stepping out today.  I found this gallery over at SCS called Easel Cards and decided to give it a try. These are the easiest cards to make.  I'm sending this one to my Mom for her birthday.  Here's the link to the tutorial and what I love most is Beate even has a You Tube video you can follow along with.

To make this lovely card I used Kiwi Kiss (SU), Chocolate Chip (SC), Lily Kate (BG) papers.  I used my EK Success punch and Paper Inspiration Birthday stamp.  I also added some CC and KK ribbon. Well I hope you enjoyed your visit today.  Hope on over to SCS and make your own card.  Leave me a link to your gallery in your comment so I can see the fabulous card you made. Take care and see ya back soon.

Happy Little Girl

Happy Saturday.  I hope everyone is having a great day.  Today I'm showing you yet another image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I'm just in love with all the beautiful images she has created.  You have to check out her website. I also entered the Copic Challenge #20 for a chance to win a great prize from Phindy's Place.  Wish me luck.

I colored little Keisha with my Copic markers in the following colors:
E13, E27, E47, RV21, RV23, YYG23, YG25, Y00.  I also used my gelly roll pen to add a little glitter to her.  The paper is from DCWV and it's called  Nana's Kids.  It has such great paper in this pack for boys and girls.

Here's a closeup of the image.  The paper also has come glitter in it.  I know the little girl that is receiving this card today is just going to love it.  Well I'm off to do some housekeeping and them I'll try to make it back to my stamp room to bring you more images tomorrow.  Have a great day everyone.
