Oh Happy Day

Oh happy Tuesday everyone. Here's my card for SCS Challenge CC225. The challenge was to use Night of Navy, So Saffron and Craft paper in your project today. I thought a very simple card was in order for this challenge today. I used the cute little owl from the Paper Studio stamp set. I colored him with Copic Markers E15, E17, E49 and a colorless blender. I cut him out and popped him up on the scalloped squares. I pierced the panel with my matpack to add a border around the craft and saffron panel. The sentiment is from Pink Poison. I hope you enjoyed my card today. See ya back tomorrow.

SCS Challenge TLC227

Hi everyone. Hope you're having a great Monday. I'm a little late posting today. I haven't been feeling well but I wanted to at least do one challenge today and I'm glad I did. This card for the SCS Challenge TLC 227 Faux Burnt Edges. I haven't done a technique challenge in awhile so I thought, why not today? I used all TAC (The Angel Company) products for today's challenge since the new catty arrived in my mailbox this morning. The paper is from the Reece Collection and the stamp is African Giraffe. I used Palette ink spots New Canvas, Burnt Amber, Charcoal and Noir to shade the giraffe and Stazon Timber Brown to stamp the image. I think used a white gel pen for the lines on the borders. I hope you like my little creation today. Have a wonderful Monday everyone. See ya back real soon.

Banana Split Sunday Challenge

Here's my card for the challenge above. You had to make a card with a "summer beach image" and what better way then to stroll on the beach with your favorite friend. This image is from My Favorite Things. I don't have any "summer images" yet from 2RedBananas but I will soon enough. I used the following paper: SU Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and their Jersey Shore DP. I colored the image with Copic Markers: YR07, Y13, R24, B23, E13, E17, E49 and my colorless blender. I masked the image to add the sand in SU creamy caramel and the sky in SU Soft Sky and Bashful Blue. I think I want to hit the beach right now. Thanks for stopping by to visit today. Have a wonderful Sunday. God Bless.

Here's a card I made today using the Kitchen Sink Tulip image. This is the first time I used this stamp set and I must say I think I'm in love. You can get such a pretty look from this stamp set. Thanks to my great friend Pinky for letting me use it. I'll be heading over to Kitchen Sink to purchase this set ASAP. Today I used SU paper Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Mellow Moss and Always Artichoke ink to create this flower. I then used Barely Banana, Cameo Coral and Blush Blossom paper as well. I also used Hobby Lobby Brazzil Brown and Making Memories Cosmopolitan Collection paper. I've had this package of paper forever so using it today made me happy. Thanks everyone for taking a peek at my creation today. Have a great day.

Little Buddy

Here's my card from yesterday's SCS Challenge #233. I think this is just the cutest image. I used my dear friend Deb's stamp to use this image for my card today. The elephant paper is from Basic Grey and the other colors are from Hobby Lobby. I used Copics (C1, C3) to color the image in. What a fun and cheery card for a child. Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a Drink My Friend

Here is a card I made for my sister's male friend. He loves his cognac and especially Hennessey. I printed this image off the internet but it was not colored. I used Tim Holtz distressing ink in vintage photo to take down the white background. I then colored in the glass with my SU markers to darken the color of the cognac. My sister said her friend loved it. He wants to order some cards for his male friends. :-) Hope you like it too.

Here's my card for SCS challenge CC224. This is the first time I used this image and I'm in love. The best part is how many ways you can color this pretty little fairy. I used Copic markers to color this image. The colors I used were B23, B26, E15, E17, Y15,Y17,YR07,YR09. I also used a white gel pen to make all the little stars on the card. You can't really see it but I used a glitter silver gel pen on the wings and wand. Thanks for stopping by today.
